Responsible

 Arguably or inarguably:

  • Decreasing "competition" detriments none.
  • Increasing "competition" benefits all.
Which is it?

Regardless, who can or should be responsible for increasing it?

How about:
  • "Any group or individual with the 'means' and without a 'conflict of interest'."
Is that backward?

It is or isn't a "rhetorical question".  But let's take it further backward.

Some individuals (always never referred to as "playboys" or "heiresses") may or may not have "money to burn".  They sometimes do.

Serving the "greater good" to improve the lives of "others" - by "blowing a fortune" - seems "grossly inappropriate".

Agree or disagree.
