Season

Is anyone curious as to when or why the seasonal flu began blessing or cursing our lives?  The "flu season" we deal with today wasn't always so seasonal.  The primary reason it now occurs relates to... static electric fields.

You may or may not remember that our flu season is man-made - not exactly natural.

Does everyone have that backward?

Physicists or electrical engineers are best suited to explain why the colder months are when infection rates or mortality increases.  We'll leave that to them.

Just remember the 3 major COVIDs so far:

1. The accidental - known as the spanish flu which coincided with the build out of radio.
2. The necessary - the establishment of a "flu season" which coincided with the development and use of microwave technology.
3. The intentional - named COVID-19 and which coincided with the proliferation of wireless devices using BlueTooth, WiFi, and cellular.

Take a few minutes for this to sink in.  Having some historical background helps.
