Cooking

If you read the post Waves here then you know St. Louis has been been flooded with one wave after another recently.  The waves aren't made of water though and their timing may not be an accident.

This flood is from current - specifically radio frequency current - normally used to transmit radio and TV station signals.  Whatever the source, it's been making it's way into cables that carry internet, data, and TV.  It only takes one small break in the cable shielding to get in.  Once that happens it travels through those cables into homes and businesses.

As long as the amount of current doesn't exceed what the cable's rated to carry...  everything should be fine.

But when the amount of current exceeds the rating - considered excess current - it can get through the shielding and leak out as non-ionizing radiation.  This may not sound like the end of the world and it shouldn't be.  Every cable or data network in the country would need to experience the same problem.  That would be insanity and immediately noticed.

It doesn't need to be the end of the world to harm you or your family though.

Even though it's being referenced as "non-ionizing" radiation it's still MICROWAVES.  Since it's radiating out of cables we tend to lay on the floor it's children and pets who have the greatest chance of exposure.

And there's no law of physics to prevent adults from being harmed too.  If the amount of current is excessive enough and it's happening in your home, here's a few indicators that seem to consistently occur:
  • Irritability that can suddenly become extreme with no discernable cause.
  • Mood swings that stay longer and exert more pull than usual.
  • Anger that can appear out of nowhere or from a sudden flash of temper.
All of the above can happen so suddenly that an accompanying physical action or reaction can happen before the person's focus and logic has a chance to step back in. Most people aren't concerned about being slowly microwaved in their own home or at work. That kind of worrying is backwards and brings to mind tin foil hats.
Except in this case, every room of the home or business where cable has been run becomes a microwave.

The only difference between it and the one on your counter is the cooking time.
